Designed for beginners or those seeking a refresher, Digital Literacy Basics introduces core principles of using smartphones, tablets, and computers—including internet browsing, downloading apps, and creating secure passwords - within a supportive, interactive virtual environment.

Participants will explore:

  • Device fundamentals: understanding smartphones, tablets, and computers

  • Digital navigation: browsing the internet, downloading apps, and managing files

  • Cyber hygiene: creating secure passwords, recognizing phishing, and protecting personal data

  • Digital communication: email etiquette, chat tools, and virtual collaboration

  • Digital confidence: troubleshooting basics and knowing where to find help
