“Back-end” refers to the server side of web development in which developers are primarily focused on how the website functions. Students in this LAMP training program learn things such as PHP, OOP, MySQL, WordPress, Linux, and Apache. Students participate in a capstone project where a server-side application is built demonstrating the skills learned in class.

Course Goals:
• Produce web applications using cutting-edge technologies
• Develop a developer mindset
• Apply best practices in Web design
• Create responsive, accessible, and appealing layouts
• Deploy your applications and work with cloud databases
• Create complex HTML forms with validations
• Use JavaScript variables, conditionals, loops, functions, arrays, and objects
• Write Javascript functions, and understand scope and higher order functions
• Use common JS data structures like Arrays and Objects
• Implement user authentication
• Use HTML to write, design, and style a web page
• Style web pages using CSS
• Program websites with JavaScript
• Add JavaScript code in your Website/Web app to easily debug issues
• How to make websites interactive
